Mae Muller’s debut single ‘The Hoodie Song’ proves that she is not one to be messed with. A stripped back R&B/pop ballad, it combines her bold vocal with a soundbed of crisp beats and bass. The production is also fantastic, coming from legend Two Inch Punch whose previous cuts include Tory Lanez and Rex Orange County. Lyrically it’s incredibly confident as well, including the cutting line ‘Stop fronting boy I know its hard to breathe under that tracksuit and don’t you try and hide it, I know you feel it please don’t fight it’.
